Contracting

Over 150 carriers. One set of paperwork.

Combined Benefits United has access to over 150 carriers as well as preferred carriers that offer competitive product and comp levels. We offer advisors a simplified contracting process which allows most agents to complete only one set of paperwork for all the carriers they would like to represent. Thus, it creates a rather easy process for agents to get contracted with multiple carriers all at once.

Upon completion of any contracting paperwork, just send it back to us via fax 207-620-7264 or email agentsupport@cbuteam.com.

Annuity & Life Insurance

The most competitive Life and Annuity carriers are listed in our contracting paperwork, and if by chance, your preferred carrier is missing from the list, just let us know. We’ll put the wheels in motion to get you appointed with them as well.

To complete the contracting all at once, please have the following documents ready for submission:

  • Producer License
  • Voided Check,
  • E&O Insurance
  • Anti- Money Laundering Training
Long-Term Care

Our top advisors work with clients to fill all their areas of financial concern. Long-term care insurance has evolved over the years to reflect the needs of our country’s aging mature population. Here are some of the most popular types that our agents are recommending:

  • Mutual of Omaha (Traditional LTC)
  • Lincoln Money Guard by Lincoln Financial (Life/LTC Hybrid)
  • Asset Care by One America/State Life (Life/LTC Hybrid)

As a reminder, advisors need to complete an 8 hour LTC course before submitting contracting or soliciting business.  The course can be completed through www.webce.com or www.kruise.com. Most LTC carriers will not process your contracting until you have business to submit.  So here’s a short list of LTC items to remember:

  • Complete 8 hour LTC course
  • Client Application
  • Contracting Paperwork
  • Producer License
  • E&O Insurance
  • AML Training
  • Voided Check
Worksite Benefits

When it comes to offering voluntary benefits, being a broker keeps you at an advantage. You can always offer the best product and be one step ahead of your competition.

Overall, Washington National Insurance Company’s Accidental, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Short Term Disability and Life Insurance tend to be our “go-to” products that we recommend to advisors.  Of course we’re also connected to additional carriers that specialize in Long Term Disability and Dental.
