Raymond Vallee, Jr.
Raymond L. Vallee Jr. is the President of Combined Benefits United, a graduate of Hall Dale High School, and attended Merrimack College.
Ray started in the insurance business in January of 1984 with Prudential Insurance Company as a Debit Agent. While at Prudential, he was a NEMO Rookie and Sophomore of the Year Contender, and won a number of company distinguished awards, along with an Academy of Honor. Ray was part of an office that finished as the 4th highest-producing staff in the country, right out of central Maine.
Ray became Employee Benefits Coordinator for a large PEO located in Lewiston, Maine, insuring over 1,400 employees with a comprehensive employee benefits program. It was there that he began his segue into the field marketing arena by developing strong relationships with many nationally known carriers.
Ray founded CBU as a field marketing organization representing a short list of insurance carriers. Over the past 15 years, CBU has grown to represent over 150 insurance carriers, doing business in 35 states with contracted insurance professionals across the country. During this time, Ray has become recognized on a national level for his commitment to detail, and for providing top investment products to advisors and consumers. With increasing, record-level sales each year, CBU has become a major player in the field marketing industry. Ray has attended multiple annual reward conventions and he says, “The greatest joy for me professionally is to see individuals and companies exceed their own lofty expectations for creating a balanced life of personal and professional successes."
Ray's values encompass the way he does business. Ray resides in Hallowell, Maine and is a member of the local YMCA. He is a former Board Member of the Augusta Little League and Augusta Babe Ruth League, along with having coached at the Jr. Varsity and Varsity Levels at Cony High School. Ray is an annual qualifier of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, a current member of the National Association of Fixed Annuities, National Association of Insurance Advisors, and a Member of the Advisory Board for Washington National Insurance Company.
Kevin Frisbie is the Founder and President of Frisbie & Associates, a financial services firm with locations in Lewiston and Brewer, Maine. As an experienced financial professional, Kevin focuses his practice on developing financial programs and strategies that address the unique financial needs and circumstances of our country’s growing mature population and their adult children.

Brian P. Heath
Brian P. Heath is a native of Maine and a graduate of Cony High School. He has been an active member in the community with the Augusta Kiwanis Chapter, Hope Group in Hallowell, and is co-founder of the Augusta's KVBC Networking Group. Brian is also a former varsity basketball coach for the Oak Grove Coburn School as well as at Cony High School. As a member of the Cynergy Mentoring program, Brian works regularly with students at the local High School to expand their horizons and provide them a link to the world of business.
For thirty years, Brian has worked as a sales consultant with business owners throughout Maine. Having come from a major account rep position in the business equipment industry, he is now a Licensed Insurance producer, specializing in Employee Benefits. Brian brings his consultative approach and years of experience with doing business in Maine to CBU. His ability to listen to client objectives and goals and to provide the right solutions are apparent in his everyday business dealings. With his two daughters, Brian has lived in Hallowell for over 23 years. From schoolwork to family excursions, nights and weekend priorities revolve around his girls. In his free time, it's shooting hoops, boating on the lake or just hanging with friends.

Stephanie is the Marketing Director at CBU, and she plays an instrumental role in developing marketing content and implementing sales strategies for agents. As the previous production manager for a Maine marketing company, she has extensive experience working with small businesses, government groups, and trade associations.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and has traveled the world from Africa to Antarctica. She came to Maine in 1999 to become a Registered Maine Guide and quickly developed a passion for showing others the uniqueness of Maine. Additionally, she is a marketing consultant for Fieldstone Media, previous co-host for the TV program The Maine Show, and a graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute.
Stephanie likes to travel, ski, hike with her dog, practice yoga, and run rivers with her husband, Kyle, and their two children, Sam and Izzy.
Shannon Ferran is the Producer Relations Director for Combined Benefits United, and her incredible organizational skills keep our team running smoothly. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the Hallowell office, including coordination of agent seminars, contracting, and communication with the CBU management team.
Shannon has more than 17 years of professional experience in the customer service industry with an emphasis on employee management, personnel development, systems analysis and team building. She is a native of Millinocket, ME and received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maine Farmington in 1999.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two children Alice and Liam. She also loves being in the outdoors, as well as entertaining friends and family.
Shelby assists agents through the sales process for Combined Benefits United. She is responsible for running Social Security reports, annuity comparisons, illustrations and providing support to our Medicare agents.
Shelby grew up in central Maine and graduated from Gardiner Area High School in 2008. She is currently pursuing her degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine. In her spare time, she enjoys being at her camp on Tacoma Lake, skiing, running, and spending time with friends and family.

JR Donath is Combined Benefits United’s Senior Vice President of Business Development for Annuity and Life Business. In addition, he is also the Senior Vice President of Business Development with CBU's partner company, Magellan Financial & Insurance Services Inc.
Grounded in years of experience and a keen understanding, JR works to provide advisors with solutions that result from their client’s desired visions. JR’s mission is to utilize that vision as a guide, and in turn, develop the right plan for each situation.
JR spends his time at CBU in three areas: working with the marketing team to educate producers on new products and value-added programs offered by CBU, developing and maintaining carrier relationships so that producers who choose CBU as their FMO have the best partner carriers available to them, and talking to producers about their business ideas to ensure we are always sharing ideas that work around the country.
JR has been in the financial services profession since 2007. He began his career as an agent and then went on to work with carriers such as Aviva & Athene. JR found a passion for directly helping individual advisors, and he currently utilizes a more one-on-one approach to assist their unique situations. JR’s main operation is to forge relationships with advisors, which result in the best solutions for their clients.
Financial wealth management has allowed JR to fulfill his passion for helping people. He is dedicated to educating and preparing advisors to accomplish their end goals. He encourages and empowers by giving advisors a peace of mind in knowing that no matter what happens in life, he is there to support their business with the utmost care.
JR was born in Illinois, although raised in Missouri and Kansas. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a devoted coach of his son’s baseball team. Dedicated to life in the local area, JR and his family reside in Topeka, Kansas.
Bob Ferreira is the Marketing Assistant for Combined Benefits United, where he works on the coordination of CBU events, provides seminar and marketing support, website development, and also manages the CBU social media pages.
A New England native, Bob grew up in New Hampshire where he worked in specialty retail and management. A published writer who is also the former Editor-in-Chief for an online satirical news website, Bob is an amateur filmmaker and avid movie collector. He lives in Augusta with his wife, Felisia, and their son, Gabriel.
Susan Hopp is a national Social Security speaker and an Investment Advisor Representative who develops financial programs and insurance strategies designed to address the unique circumstances of our country’s growing mature population and their adult children. Her belief is that conservative asset management, asset allocation, and patience can help clients pursue their financial goals. Susan is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in her relationships with her clients. Her ultimate goal is to provide direction that can result in financial peace of mind.
A native of New Hampshire, Susan lives in Amherst and is a proud parent of two amazing daughters. Traveling as a family is one of her favorite pastimes. Susan also enjoys snowshoeing, boating and hiking with their beloved Lab – Maggie.
