National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Submitted by Mike Kelley on

Every month nowadays seems to have a connection to some national awareness. While we can argue that some may be less important...National Beard Day, the 24th is National Punctuation day, and National Cheese Pizza day is right around the corner. There are some that have profound meaning for the people in your community.

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. For the hundreds of families in our communities that have been effected by the death of a loved one from Ovarian Cancer, it is safe to say that the teal ribbon is not something we can look past. In the Insurance Industry, we know that the pain of losing a loved one is always amplified if we aren’t prepared ahead of time. Whether it effects your client’s ability to pay their bills, or it effects their own health, it is our job to help them prepare.

Don’t let Ovarian Cancer or any type of cancer go from a health issue, to a financial hardship. Protect yourself and your clients today.
